Senior AML Analyst (Legal Entities EDDs)

What you'll do
As our Senior AML Analyst, you'll help protect Mintos and our investors from financial crime while keeping the platform transparent and compliant. You'll be responsible for identifying and assessing risks, performing customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence, and investigating suspicious activity, ensuring Mintos meets its regulatory obligations as it grows. Working with Compliance, Risk, and Onboarding teams, you'll help build a trusted platform where people can invest with confidence.
You will:
Contribute to building AML/CTPF compliance culture in Mintos;
Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on existing, new and/or potential customers (legal persons);
Review the customer AML/CTPF internal control systems and processes;
Carry out varying levels of research, investigation, depending on the complexity of the case and make a decision taking into account all information;
Work with international customers from various jurisdictions;
Communicate effectively and efficiently across business channels to obtain needed CDD or EDD information;
Provide advice and guidance with respect to the AML/CTPF laws and regulations to stakeholders. Support creation and implementation of AML processes and procedures;
Be part of a group of highly skilled employees all dedicated to preventing financial crime;
Have a deep understanding of and work efficiently with new compliance requirements.
Your professional skills and background
Must-haves
About 4 and more years of experience in the AML field, preferably in EDD investigations on legal persons, and/ or financial institutions;
Ability to perform complex analysis and present the findings in a structured manner;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to explain complicated matters in an easy way;
Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation with the ability to work independently;
Problem-solving and decision-making skills;
Hands-on mentality, willingness to take an active role in the AML team and company;
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
In-depth knowledge of AML regulations;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
