AML Quality Assurance Senior Analyst

We're looking for an AML Quality Assurance Senior Analyst to join our AML function. You will work closely with the MLRO, contributing to quality control across key elements of our internal control system.
This role offers real ownership over quality assurance reviews and broad exposure across our internal control framework.
What you’ll do
As an AML QA Senior Analyst, you will perform a quality assurance review of various AML tasks and processes (EDD/CDD, target reviews, transaction monitoring, customer screening, etc.) to identify potential deficiencies and situations that fall outside of the Mintos risk appetite. You will suggest how to mitigate risk-increasing factors. You’ll efficiently balance your day-to-day workload, handle ad-hoc projects, and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends.
You will:
Perform quality assurance reviews for internal control elements, for example, (EDD, CDD, transaction monitoring, etc.)
Follow up on remediation activities
Prepare quality assurance reports
Work with data and AI tools
Provide advice and guidance on AML/CTF laws and regulations to internal stakeholders
Support creation and implementation of AML processes and procedures
Communicate effectively and efficiently with other teams
Your professional skills and background
Around 4 years of experience in AML/KYC in a financial institution, with hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: EDD, CDD processes
Ability to perform complex analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to explain complicated matters easily
Data driven mindset - comfortable working with data to identify patterns and refine quality controls
Compliance mindset - comfortable working with internal and external regulations
Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation with the ability to work independently
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
