As our Legal Counsel, you'll assist with internal general legal matters of Mintos and legal aspects of investor service of retail customers across Europe on Mintos platform.

You will:

• Prepare and maintain corporate documentation for Mintos group entities, including board and shareholder minutes, powers of attorney, and documentation related to the establishment and maintenance of companies.

• Assist with preparing and submitting legal documentation and filings to relevant institutions and registers (e.g., Commercial Register, Nasdaq CSD) and maintain internal records related to such filings.

• Draft, review, and maintain standard and ad-hoc service and administrative contracts (e.g., NDAs, lease agreements, marketing contracts) supporting the day-to-day legal needs.

• Provide legal assistance for ad hoc and complex investor situations, including inheritances, insolvencies, personal data processing related requests, responses to regulatory and other institutional inquiries and complaints.

• Manage legal workflows in a digital environment, including applying automations and AI solutions.

• Effectively liaise with internal stakeholders (Operations, Product, Marketing, and others), and the Mintos legal team. Deliver the outcomes both independently, and in close collaboration with Senior Legal Counsel and CLO.

Your professional skills and background

Must-haves

• Law degree from a reputable university with strong academic performance. At least 2 years post-university legal work experience in-house or at a law firm;

• Very good legal Latvian and English, including hands-on experience in drafting legal documentation;

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

• Ability to approach legal matters with commercial awareness and provide practical solutions;

• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage workload effectively;

• Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work;

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Masters degree in law or LLM;

• Applied understanding of key EU legal regulatory frameworks, in particular those applicable to FinTechs, and Latvian law (Commercial Law);

• Additional language skills;

• Familiarity with modern workplace tools, including project management software (JIRA, Asana, or alike) and experience leveraging AI tools for productivity.
